The Interior Architect will work in our Tampa office and work on various size and type projects, providing design leadership by giving clients an excellent service both on design and delivery, continually provide design solutions, improving design quality, represent Zyscovich interior architecture design to clients and the design community, mentoring designers in their careers and working profitably for the firm.

Job Description
Zyscovich is seeking a high-caliber, dynamic Interior Designer to join its group of talented and innovative members. The successful candidate will be a part of Zyscovich's team helping to design and lead a diverse set of private and public sector projects.
The Interior Designer's main responsibilities will include:
- Develop Programming, consulting, strategic planning, conceptual designs, space planning, presentations, design development, and production.
- Kicking off Interiors Department
- Generating material/ finish board.
- Coordination with technical team, fabricators, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives.
- Produce finish, furniture, and equipment specifications for interior spaces as well and adjacent exterior spaces.
- Resolve complex design issues with innovative and practical solutions.
- Assist CA for finish selections, detailing, RFIs etc.
- Mentor and collaborate with team members, offering guidance and leadership
- Interaction with clients, meetings, and presentations on site.
- Attending job site Visits
- Working independently and collaboratively with the Miami Team
- Generating material/ finish boards
- Assisting in the growth of the Interiors Department
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience including proven track record of leading the interior architecture design of projects such as, workspace, hospitality, institutional, commercial, retail, or mixed-use projects.
- Experience working on institutional projects
- B/M or foreign equivalent, Architecture and/or Interior Design
- Strong working knowledge of REVIT
- Knowledge of the total project process including fee and team management, codes, schedules, budgets, and building/spaces lifecycles.
- Must understand trends, construction methods, finishes and furniture specifications and purchasing, as well as construction administration.
- Possess a high level of visual and verbal communication skills and a high level of freehand and rendering skills.
- Creative individual that is inspired by progressive, modern art and design.
- Adaptable to work in a high-energy, quick-thinking environment.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop & InDesign
- Knowledge of Lumion is a plus
